Celebrate New Year's Eve at Panama City Beach's Spectacular Beach Ball Drop

Panama City Beach is set to host its annual New Year's Eve Beach Ball Drop, a vibrant celebration that has become a cherished tradition for both locals and visitors.

 

Recognized as the "Best New Year's Eve Drop". This event offers a unique blend of entertainment, including live music, dazzling fireworks, and activities suitable for all ages.

 

The festivities commence at 4:00 p.m. at Aaron Bessant Park and Pier Park Drive in Panama City Beach, where attendees can enjoy performances by DJ DT and bands like Cover to Cover and The Life Atlantic.

 

For families with young children, the Kids' Beach Ball Drop at 8:00 p.m. is a highlight, featuring the release of 15,000 beach balls and a spectacular fireworks display.

 

As midnight approaches, the excitement builds with performances by The Blinding Lights and The Will Thompson Band.

 

The climax of the evening is the descent of a giant, LED-lit beach ball from the 80-foot-tall Celebration Tower, followed by a breathtaking fireworks show over the Gulf of America, launched from the Russell-Fields Pier.

 

With its combination of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and stunning coastal backdrop, the New Year's Eve Beach Ball Drop in Panama City Beach promises an unforgettable way to welcome 2026.

 

This is a free event, but be aware that parking at Pier Park itself might have standard fees (like hourly/daily rates or garage charges), though the event itself is a public, cost-free celebration.
