Veterans Mobility Health Expo Coming to Panama City September 14 |
Team Adaptive Medical invites veterans, families and the community to its first annual event focused on mobility, independence and valuable local resources. |
Veterans and individuals living with disabilities will have an opportunity to discover mobility resources, meet local service providers and connect with community organizations when Team Adaptive Medical hosts its First Annual Veterans Mobility Health Expo in Panama City.
The Veterans Mobility Health Expo will be held Monday, September 14, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Community Center, 722 E. Ninth Ct., Panama City, FL 32401.
The theme of the event is “Helping Gain Independence,” with an emphasis on helping veterans and people with disabilities find services and solutions that may allow them to live more independently.
Discover Mobility and Veteran Resources
According to Team Adaptive Medical, the expo will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about mobility solutions, health services and veteran support programs available in the community.
Team Adaptive Medical specializes in mobility products and services such as wheelchair-accessible vehicles, mobility scooters, wheelchairs and wheelchair lifts. The company's Panama City location is at 1201 Harrison Avenue.
Team Adaptive has also been active in introducing Bay County residents to adaptive mobility options. In January 2026, the company hosted a Panama City mobility “Show and Tell” event designed in part to help local veterans and residents with disabilities learn more about mobility equipment and available resources.
Connect With Local Organizations
The Veterans Mobility Health Expo isn't just about equipment.
Attendees will also have a chance to meet local organizations, healthcare providers and community partners that work with veterans and people with disabilities.
That face-to-face connection could be especially helpful for veterans and caregivers who aren't sure where to begin when looking for mobility assistance, healthcare resources or support programs.
Building a Stronger, More Independent Community
Another major goal of the expo is community engagement.
Team Adaptive Medical says the event is intended to help empower veterans and individuals with disabilities to live more independent lives while connecting them with the people and organizations that can help.
And while veterans are at the heart of the event, everyone is welcome to attend.
Whether you're a veteran, caregiver, family member, healthcare professional or simply interested in learning more about mobility and accessibility resources in the Panama City area, the expo offers an opportunity to gather information and make new connections in one location.
