Panama City Rallies for 2025 'Stuff the Bus' Toy Drive |
Community Unites to Bring Holiday Cheer to Local Children |
Panama City is embracing the holiday spirit with the launch of the 2025 'Stuff the Bus' toy drive, a cherished annual event dedicated to ensuring every child experiences the joy of the season.
Leading this heartfelt initiative is Skip Bondur, affectionately known as 'Old Saint Skip.' This year, Skip is elevating his commitment by spending ten days atop a scissor lift in the Walmart parking lot on 23rd Street, braving the elements to draw attention to the cause.
"Our goal is to collect 10,000 toys," Skip shared. "With the generous pre-collections in November, we're on track to surpass 20,000 toys, ensuring a magical Christmas for countless children in our community."
The drive is accepting new, unwrapped toys suitable for all age groups. Donations can be dropped off at the 23rd Street Walmart location until December 17th. Volunteers are present daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., but contributions are welcome at any time.
As the community comes together, the 'Stuff the Bus' campaign stands as a testament to the generosity and unity of Panama City, ensuring that every child experiences the joy and wonder of the holiday season.
For those unable to visit in person, online donations are also accepted, providing an alternative way to support this noble cause.
