Price Family Musical Christmas Lights Display Illuminates Panama City in 2025 |
A Dazzling Holiday Tradition Returns to Downtown Panama City |
The Price Family Musical Christmas Lights Display has become a cherished holiday tradition in Panama City, captivating residents and visitors alike with its mesmerizing light shows synchronized to festive music.
In 2025, the display continues to enchant audiences at the Panama City Center for the Arts lawn in Historic Downtown. This collaboration between the Bay Arts Alliance and the City of Panama City showcases the creative brilliance of David Price, who has meticulously crafted this spectacle to spread holiday cheer.
Creator David Price said he added 20.000 more lights this year and has dedicated some display for our Military members who can not be with us this holiday season.
The free show runs nightly throughout December, with musical performances from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on weekdays and extended hours until 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays on Harrison Ave. Attendees are encouraged to park and stroll through the downtown area to fully immerse themselves in the experience.
Beyond the Price Family display, Panama City offers a variety of festive events to celebrate the season. Come downtown Panama City and enjoy the Christmas lights and support the local businesses.
The Downtown Christmas Celebration kicked off on December 5 at Four Points Plaza, featuring the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony with performances by the Bay High School Choir, and the opening of the Holiday Bazaar presented by the Bay Arts Alliance at the Center for the Arts. This two-day bazaar showcased handcrafted goods from local artists, perfect for holiday shopping.
The Downtown Panama City Christmas Parade on December 7th was a huge success, despite being postponed due to rain. Families gathered along the parade route on Harrison Avenue to enjoy the festive floats and candy. One of my favorites was Porta-Potty on the loose.
Another highlight was the 39th Annual Boat Parade of Lights on December 13. That event illuminated St. Andrews Bay with a procession of festively decorated boats. Spectators enjoyed prime viewing from various waterfront locations, making it a must-see holiday event.
For those seeked a unique holiday experience in November saw the Christmas Laser Orchestra: The Symphony of Lights at the Central Panhandle Fair in Bay County offers a mesmerizing blend of music and laser lights, creating an unforgettable festive atmosphere.
These events, along with the Price Family Musical Christmas Lights Display, contribute to the vibrant holiday spirit that defines Panama City during the festive season. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor, the city's array of celebrations offers something for everyone to enjoy. |
