Small Developer Boot Camp in Panama City, Florida

Hands-on learning with Incremental Development Alliance and developer training Panama City

🔥 Trending

The Incremental Development Alliance, in collaboration with the Panama City Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), is launching a Small Developer Boot Camp on February 26, 2026.

This five-week program aims to equip local entrepreneurs with practical skills for small-scale projects that enhance Panama City neighborhoods.

Seven years after Hurricane Michael, numerous vacant properties await redevelopment.

However, there's a shortage of trained local developers to undertake these transformations.

While external developers have acquired properties at reduced rates, community leaders emphasize the need for homegrown talent who truly understand neighborhood needs.

Unlike traditional real estate seminars, this boot camp emphasizes hands-on application.

Participants will bring actual development projects, ranging from rehabilitating historic storefronts to transforming vacant lots, and collaborate directly with expert faculty.

They'll refine pro formas, create investor proposals, interpret zoning regulations, and practice project pitches.

The program runs for five consecutive Thursdays from 4:00-7:00 PM CST, starting February 26, 2026 and concluding March 26th with a "Dolphin Tank" practice pitch session.

Faculty includes Marques King, Studio Director at Pure Architects in Detroit, and Joel Dixon, Co-Principal of Urban Oasis Development in Atlanta, both experienced small-scale developers committed to community-led revitalization.

With over 10,000 alumni across 33 states, the Incremental Development Alliance has a proven track record of training developers who go on to transform their communities.

Boot camp participants receive comprehensive resources, including SBA loan checklists, zoning worksheets, pro forma templates, and pitch deck frameworks.
