Presented during the Chamber’s First Friday event on March 6, 2026, the award celebrates projects that elevate the beauty, quality, and vitality of Bay County through thoughtful design and meaningful community benefit. Recognition Accepted on Behalf of the CityThe award was accepted by Commissioner Janice Lucas, Parks, Culture and Recreation Director Keith Meyerl, and Javien Elliott, Manager of the MLK Jr. Recreation Center. City officials expressed gratitude to the Bay County Chamber of Commerce for the recognition and extended appreciation to the many partners, staff members, and community supporters who helped bring the project from vision to reality.
